Once again Mission will be attending Camerimage, this time being held in the beautiful city of Torun in Poland. Running from 9th to 16th of November, it’s a chance for all of us to get together and celebrate cinematography. It will sure be strange to say goodbye to good old Bydgozsz, but we’re here to ease the transition onto this new city and help make the festival as fantastic as ever.

We are once more sponsoring the festival, which gives us great pride as it also shows how much we’ve grown as a company. We believe in supporting cinematographers at all stages of their careers, and it’s incredibly rewarding to be in a position to support Camerimage once more.

Our wine bar last year was a great place for old and new friends to share a drink, and with that in mind, this year we’ve gone even bigger. Basing ourselves at Nova 22 (Żeglarska 22, 87-100 Toruń, Poland), we’ll be hosting five nights of delicious wines and nibbles. Our bar is open from Monday 11th to Friday 15th, 5pm-9pm

This year we’ll have our biggest Camerimage team so far, with five members of Team Mission hopping about the festival at various points in the week.

In addition to the wine bar, our Head of Colour, Pablo Garcia Soriano, will be busy this festival. He’ll be giving a seminar on the Downtown Abbey movie’s colour management, in association with Sony. This will be held on Tuesday 12th, and all are invited to join. Similarly, on Wednesday 13th Pablo will be supporting the Sony Workshop, presenting our Look management for HDR and SDR and how it fits an always evolving on set world.

Finally, we thought we would help you out getting your bearings in Torun. It’s an exciting new place for all of us, so here’s a handy map to help you get started.

We hope you have a wonderful time in Torun, and if you’re coming, be sure to let us know, as we would love to see you there.
