Production Assistant

Mission is expanding! Established in 2011, Mission is one of the world’s leading DIT and digital dailies services companies with an exceptional list of feature film and high-end drama credits. Digital workflow solutions for the film and TV industry have never been in greater demand, and to continue offering the same unique level of support, guidance and innovation that we’ve become synonymous with, we’re looking to recruit a new face for our in-house Production Team.

This role will be mainly based at our office in Garden Studios, NW10.

This role would suit someone who is happiest working with people. We’re looking for a highly organised Production Assistant to be the first point of contact for all incoming phone calls, someone to become an expert at connecting people. Daily tasks include but are not limited to: administration, quoting, invoicing, supporting our management team and working alongside our existing producers to learn the ropes. It is our goal that our new Production Assistant will progress within the team and eventually take responsibility for projects of their own.

Mission is both fast-paced and forever evolving, and we’re passionate about hiring people who thrive in that environment. As Mission grows as a company there will be opportunities to develop skills and eventually choose a focus that is both beneficial to the individual and the company.

We’ll need you to fulfil the following requirements:

  • An interest in the client-facing side of the film/TV production industry

  • An excellent command of both written and spoken English

  • A warm personality and a helpful, can-do attitude

  • Outstanding client service skills, in person, over the phone and email

  • An organised and methodical approach to your work

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK

  • Live within a reasonable commute to our Garden Studios office

  • Not necessary but beneficial:

    • Experience in production assistant or similar role

    • Fluency in an additional foreign language

    • Experience using asset management softwares, especially Current

    • Spreadsheet experience

    • Google Suite experience

    • Reasonable commute to our other office at Shepperton Studios

Please note: whilst having experience in the industry is always a bonus, we’re keen to hear from people from all backgrounds and experiences. What’s important to us is finding a person who can fulfil the above and work with our existing team, whether or not they have industry experience.

In return, you’ll get to work with a dedicated and friendly team, and be involved in some of the most exciting digital film projects currently being shot both here in the UK and abroad.

We’ll offer you a competitive rate, as well as the opportunity to learn all about what we do. At Mission we love to help people grow and expand their roles, and we’re happy to support you in achieving your career ambitions. If you’re prepared to work hard, we’ll take good care of you too.

Please include a CV and cover letter to let us know why you would be good for this position.
