The production landscape in the United Kingdom has changed dramatically over the last few years. With studios in London booking up quickly, coupled with the advantages and tax breaks of moving productions to other areas in the UK, Mission Digital has been planning on how to stay at the forefront of the industry, by offering the same level of services we currently offer in London in other locations.

Enter Mission Digital Wales. Between The Bastard Executioner, The Collection and, more recently, Will (currently in production), there’s an increasing demand for high end services that can cater to quality television and features shooting in the Welsh region. With great studio facilities popping up around Cardiff combined with the vast natural cinematic landscapes, it’s an ideal place to expand our operation.

Mission Digital has thus taken a leap forward, by opening a fully functioning office in Cardiff to provide the service excellence we are proudly known for. With an ambition to expand our London based roster of services and technicians, Mission Digital Wales is currently offering DIT and digital lab services, accelerated file transfer data to anywhere in the globe, our renowned Easel iPad Dailies platform, and video playback services. And as ever in London, we’re also on the lookout for any Wales based talent interested in joining the Mission Digital team – whether you’re a DIT with colour knowledge, a DAS or video playback operator, we’d love to hear from you!

With our highly trained and specialised technicians, in house facilities and equipment built for mobile deployment, this new stage in Mission Digital’s evolution has begun, and we couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with you on your next Wales based production.
