From award winning director Steve McQueen comes anthology series Small Axe. Consisting of 5 original films set between the 196os and mid-1980s, Small Axe is a poignant collection of emotional storytelling, with each movie telling a story set within London's West Indian community.
Mission DIT Jacob Robinson supported cinematographer Shabier Kirchner on two of the films belonging to this anthology: Lovers Rock and Alex Wheatle. Both of this were shot digitally, with the rest of the series shot on film.
