Based on a book of the same name by Sarah Vaughn, the series follows James, a politician who is accused of a terrible crime. Whilst James’ wife Sophie is convinced of his innocence, prosecutor Kate has her own personal reasons for for believing James is guilty - and is dead set on proving it. ⁠
