Ben Wheatley’s latest is a one location, high octane action fest where no one is safe to hide. Set in 70’s Boston, two gangs blast at each other in a fascinating shootout. Starring Armie Hammer, Cillian Murphy, Brie Larson and Sharlto Copley, this is one gunfest you don’t want to miss.

While working on High-Rise, Ben’s previous film, he edited every night after shooting. On Free Fire, it was fundamental to be able to edit on set, to be able to cover the eyelines correctly, specially when working in such a vast space as this warehouse was. Thankfully, Mission Digital was able to provide a unique setup that allowed Ben to edit on set throughout the shoot.

Cinematographer Laurie Rose was in charge of capturing all this action, and our DIT Harry Bennett-Snewin helped him every step of the way. Mission Digital also provided a Near Set lab, ran by our DIT Neil Gray.
