About
The Little Drummer Girl is a TV miniseries adapted from John le Carré’s 1983 spy novel of the same title. Directed by Park Chan Wook (Old Boy, Stoker, The Handmaiden), this six-part miniseries stars Florence Pugh as Charlie, a young, brilliant actress who is looking forward to her definitive role in the “theater of the real” amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
Also starring Alexander Skarsgård as Becker and Michael Shannon as Martin Kurtz, the story is set in the 1970s where Charlie, while on holiday in Greece, coincidentally meets a mysterious man named Becker. It quickly becomes clear that Becker’s intentions are not what they seem, as Charlie finds herself entangled in a high stakes spy plot devised by the spy mastermind Martin Kurtz.
The Little Drummer girl was shot by Kim Woo-Hyung with the assistance from Mission Digital’s technicians Thomas Patrick and Patrick King handling on set duties, with Alec Garner running the Digital Lab. It was shot in London, Greece and Prague, and our technicians followed the production to various exotic locales.
